University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has paid tribute to the martyrs of the Language Movement, marking the International Mother Language Day on Saturday morning at the Central Shaheed.
UGC members, officers, and employees, joined by representatives from the UGC Officers’ Association and the UGC Employees’ Union, gathered at the monument to offer wreaths. They observed the occasion with profound reverence, remembering the contributions of the language martyrs.
UGC members Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan, Masuma Habib, Md Saidur Rahman, UGC Secretary Md Fakhrul Islam and Director of the ICT Division and President of the UGC Officers’ Association Md Omar Faruque were also in attendance.
