Two cocktail blasts were reported in separate areas of the capital late Saturday. No casualties or damage were reported.
Shahbagh Police Station Officer‑in‑charge Md Moniruzzaman said a cocktail exploded near the Secretariat Metro Rail Station around 10:45pm Saturday.
Another blast was reported in front of Bangla Academy under Shahbagh Police Station.
OC Moniruzzaman said the explosion took place under Metro pillar 527 between 11:30pm and 11:40pm.
Investigations were ongoing into both incidents, he added.
