Trust Bank PLC has signed a Credit Guarantee Agreement with Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) under the Credit Enhancement Scheme (CES) for the fiscal year 2026-2027, aiming to expand access to formal financial services for micro-entrepreneurs in underserved and remote areas, the bank said in a press release.
The agreement was signed at a formal ceremony by Trust Bank Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Akhlasur Rahman Bhuiyan and PKSF Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader on behalf of their respective organisations.
The strategic partnership will support micro-entrepreneurs by improving access to credit facilities under the CES programme. Trust Bank PLC had disbursed a significant amount under the programme in the fiscal year 2025-2026.
Senior officials from both institutions were also present at the signing ceremony.
