Celebrated lyricist, composer and singer Shafiq Tuhin has marked his birthday with the release of a new music video titled “Tomay Dekhle Mone Hoy 2.0”.
Released on Monday (27 July) as a special gift for fans, the duet features vocals by Shafiq Tuhin and singer Haimanti Rakshit Das.
The song’s lyrics and composition are by Tuhin, while the music video has been directed by Chandan Roy Chowdhury and released under the Anupam Music label.
One of the song’s highlights is its tribute to the classic hit “Tomay Dekhle Mone Hoy” from the 1996 film Biye’r Phool.
The new version incorporates only the chorus of the original song, written and composed by the late legendary musician Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, blending its nostalgic appeal with a fresh musical arrangement.
Speaking about the release, Shafiq Tuhin expressed confidence that the song would resonate with music lovers of all generations.
“I believe Tomay Dekhle Mone Hoy 2.0 will appeal to all music enthusiasts. The fusion of classic and contemporary melodies will create a unique experience for listeners,” he said.
He added that the music video is now available on Anupam Music’s YouTube channel as well as other digital streaming platforms, and has already begun attracting positive attention from audiences.
