At least three people, including a child, were killed and 15 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Madhupur, Tangail, on Thursday night.
The accident occurred around 9:30pm near the Tara Pump area. The bus, travelling from Dhaka to Madarganj, struck the truck head‑on.
Local sources said the three victims died instantly.
Md Jafar Iqbal Hossain, officer‑in‑charge of Madhupur Police Station, confirmed the incident.
