Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury are finally taking their popular on-screen pairing to cinemas with Vicky Zahed’s upcoming film ‘Pulsirat’.
The actors, who have appeared together in several television dramas and web projects, will share the big screen for the first time in the film.
Zahed, who has previously directed the duo in ‘Punorjonmo’, ‘Chirokal Aaj’ and ‘Redrum’, will also make his cinema directorial debut with the project.
‘Pulsirat’ was registered in January, although the casting remained unconfirmed at the time. Speculation grew on Monday after producer Shahriar Shakil posted a photograph with Nisho and Mehazabien.
Production preparations are reportedly nearing completion, with filming scheduled to begin in early January. The month-long shoot is expected to wrap up in February, followed by post-production ahead of an Eid-ul-Fitr release.
Produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, the film marks a new chapter for one of Bangladesh’s most popular acting pairs.
