Ice Spice has addressed a viral altercation that took place at a Hollywood McDonald’s, responding with humour on social media while legal action is being considered.
The rapper referenced the incident on X, posting a clip alongside a comment that read, “This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s,” in a light-hearted nod to her fast-food partnership.
The footage, first obtained by TMZ, shows Ice Spice sitting in a booth early Wednesday morning when a woman approaches her table. After a brief exchange, the woman appears to strike the rapper, prompting a physical confrontation that spills across booths and tables inside the restaurant and continues briefly outside.
Following the incident, Ice Spice’s legal team said the matter has been reported to the LAPD. Attorney Bradford Cohen stated that they intend to pursue both criminal and civil action, alleging the attack was unprovoked and also questioning the venue’s security measures.
Cohen further claimed that video evidence from inside the restaurant shows the confrontation unfolding before additional footage was recorded outside, suggesting the situation escalated quickly.
No official response has been issued by McDonald’s or representatives for Ice Spice at this stage, while the investigation and potential legal proceedings continue.
