Forget luxury cars, designer gifts and private jets. Jennifer Lopez says the sexiest thing a man can do is far simpler — make the bed or wash the dishes after a long day.
The singer and actress made the candid remarks during her performance at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda event at Isola Bella in Taormina, Sicily, ahead of her 57th birthday on 24 July, People reported.
Playfully dismissing several of her male backup dancers, Lopez joked that she did not need a partner’s money or expensive presents.
“People have looked at me for years and thought I’m expensive,” she said. “And I am expensive. But I have my own money. Ladies, we don’t need anybody to buy us anything.”
She then revealed what truly impresses her.
“It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet,” Lopez said. “What’s sexy is seeing him make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes when you’re tired at night. That’s what I call sexy.”
The audience responded with applause as Lopez performed hits including Ain’t Your Mama, Waiting for Tonight, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Let’s Get Loud.
She first appeared in a custom sunshine-yellow Dolce & Gabbana gown before changing into a white lace bodysuit with crystal-embellished boots. She also performed the Italian classic Il cielo in una stanza before thanking designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and telling the audience, “Ti amo, Italia!”
Lopez, whose personal life has long attracted public attention, has been married four times, including to Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck. She also previously dated Alex Rodriguez.
After the show, she shared an Instagram Reel captioned, “Grazie Italia per l’immenso amore. Ti amo.”
The Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda event ran from 13 to 16 July in Taormina, Sicily.
