Global technology brand TECNO showcased its expanding artificial intelligence ecosystem and modular smartphone innovations at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, highlighting how connected devices can work together to improve productivity and digital experiences.
The company demonstrated how smartphones, laptops, tablets and smart accessories can operate within a unified system under the theme “Pioneering the Connection of Intelligence,” according to a press release.
The showcase centred on TECNO’s new CAMON 50 Series and POVA 8 Series smartphones.
The CAMON 50 Series focuses on AI-powered imaging and productivity, combining advanced camera hardware, AI tools and the company’s Ella assistant to enhance photography, content creation and daily digital tasks.
The POVA 8 Series, designed for performance, includes the flagship POVA Curve 2 5G featuring an 8000mAh battery within a 7.42mm slim body.
The device also includes a 144Hz curved AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor, alongside AI-powered tools aimed at improving gaming, entertainment and communication.
TECNO also showcased its broader artificial intelligence of things ecosystem, including MEGABOOK laptops, the upcoming MEGAPAD tablet and smart accessories such as True 2 and FreeHear 2 earphones, Watch GT 1S and the AI Glasses Series.
These devices operate through the company’s OneLeap ecosystem, which enables seamless interaction between multiple devices.
The company also introduced a collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini to launch co-branded technology products combining advanced hardware with Italian design.
The partnership debuted with the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS gaming PC and TECNO POVA Metal Limited Edition smartphone, with plans to expand the collaboration into laptops, tablets and wearable devices.
A key highlight of the exhibition was TECNO’s Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology, which allows users to attach magnetic hardware modules such as additional batteries, camera lenses and gaming accessories directly to smartphones.
The company said the concept aims to allow future smartphones to be customised through hardware modules rather than remaining fixed devices.
TECNO also demonstrated Edge-Side AIGC Preview Concept Technology developed in partnership with Arm Ltd, enabling AI-driven image style transfer previews at 30 frames per second while running fully offline on smartphones.
The CAMON 50 and POVA Curve 2 5G smartphones are now available at TECNO outlets across Bangladesh, while the CAMON 50 Ultra 5G will be launched soon, the company said.
