TECNO has been announced as the title sponsor of the SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026, as the tournament moved another step closer with the official draw ceremony held in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The championship will now be known as the TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026.
The draw ceremony took place after the SAFF Ordinary Congress 2026. It was attended by senior officials from the South Asian Football Federation, FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation and the seven SAFF member associations.
The draw was conducted by SAFF General Secretary Purushottam Kattel, Bhutan Football Federation President Dasho Ugen Tsechup, and Rezwanul Hoque, Chief Executive Officer of Ismartu Technology BD Limited, representing TECNO Mobile Bangladesh.
The draw placed hosts Bangladesh in Group A alongside Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Nepal’s participation remains subject to FIFA approval.
Group B consists of defending champions India, Maldives and Pakistan.
The tournament will be held in Bangladesh from November 4 to 17.
Speaking after the draw, Rezwanul Hoque welcomed the next stage of the competition.

With the group stage now confirmed, the participating nations will begin their final preparations for South Asia’s biggest international football tournament.
