Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their second game of the Asia Cup 2025. Two of their key players, Taskin Ahmed and Litton Das, have milestones in sight.
Litton Das has scored 2,496 runs in T20Is. He is the second-highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in the format. Shakib Al Hasan leads with 2,551 runs in 127 innings. Litton needs 55 more runs to keep his position, and he has 109 innings to do it.
Taskin Ahmed is close to a special achievement too. He has 96 T20I wickets. With just four more, he can become only the third Bangladeshi bowler to reach 100 wickets. Shakib Al Hasan tops the list with 149 wickets. Mustafizur Rahman follows with 142 wickets.
Both players will be keen to achieve these milestones as Bangladesh continue their Asia Cup campaign.
