Bangladesh have recalled fast bowler Tanzim Hasan for the series-deciding third and final ODI against New Zealand in Chattogram on Thursday.
The 23-year-old has been out of competitive action for the past two and a half months due to injury. His last appearance came in the T20 tournament on 5 February 2026, while his most recent ODI was in October last year.
Tanzim is the only addition to the squad from the first two matches. No players have been dropped, meaning Bangladesh will field a 16-member squad for the decider.
Afif Hossain, who lost his place in the XI for the second ODI after a poor run of form, remains in the squad. Najmul Hossain Shanto, who retired hurt after scoring a half-century in the second match due to cramp, is also included.
Pace spearhead Mustafizur Rahman, who has missed both matches so far with a knee injury, has also been named in the squad.
Bangladesh levelled the three-match series with a six-wicket win in the second ODI after New Zealand won the opening game by 26 runs.
