Pakistan have been fined and docked World Test Championship points for a slow over rate during the third Test against England at Edgbaston.
The International Cricket Council found Pakistan 11 overs short of the required rate after taking time allowances into account.
As a result, Pakistan, who were already the lowest ranked team in the WTC points table, received a fine of 50 percent of their match fee, and also lost 11 points in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle.
England won the third Test by eight wickets in Birmingham to complete a 3-0 series win.
Match referee Ranjan Madugalle imposed the punishment. On field umpires Paul Reiffel and Chris Gaffaney, third umpire Allahudien Palekar and fourth umpire Russell Warren brought the charge.
The points deduction leaves Pakistan further behind in the World Test Championship table. They are now ninth with a points percentage of 4.63.
Under the ICC Code of Conduct, players can be fined five percent of their match fee for every over their team falls short. The maximum fine is 50 percent.
World Test Championship rules also state that teams lose one point for every over they are short. Pakistan therefore lost 11 points for being 11 overs behind the required rate.
Pakistan will next play in the World Test Championship in November. They are set to host Sri Lanka for a two Test series in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
England dominated all three Tests against Pakistan. They won the opening Test by an innings and 103 runs before taking the second by 194 runs. England then sealed the series with an eight wicket victory in the final Test.
