Liverpool secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Arsenal at Anfield thanks to a sensational free kick from Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian midfielder struck in the 82nd minute, curling the ball into the top corner from 25 yards to settle a tense Premier League clash.
Arsenal had started brightly and looked the sharper side during the first half. William Saliba’s early injury forced Mikel Arteta to bring on new signing Cristhian Mosquera, but the visitors adapted quickly. Declan Rice delivered several corners, while Noni Madueke tested Alisson with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.
Liverpool, however, grew into the contest. Cody Gakpo had a couple of half-chances, while Mohamed Salah caused problems on the right flank. Still, the home side struggled to create clear openings, and the first half ended goalless.

The Gunners pushed hard for an equaliser in stoppage time, with appeals for a penalty checked by VAR after the ball struck Szoboszlai’s arm inside the box. The officials allowed play to continue, and Liverpool survived a late siege to claim all three points.
