Dilara Hafiz, wife of Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, has died at the age of 78.
She passed away while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital at 1:29pm local time.
She is survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, grandchildren, and many admirers.
Her body will be brought back to Bangladesh on Sunday evening.
On 30 March, the first namaz-e-janaza will be held at 11am at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad. After Zohr prayers, another janaza will be held at the central mosque of the cantonment.
She will then be laid to rest at the Banani Military Cemetery.
