Raihan Rafi has unveiled the first official poster of his much-awaited horror film Andhar, confirming that the star-studded production will hit cinemas in October 2026.
Rafi, Siam Ahmed and several other cast members shared the poster on social media on Thursday evening. The reveal follows a series of character introductions that have steadily built anticipation around the film.
The poster offers the first collective glimpse of Andhar’s eerie world. Five characters, dressed entirely in white, stand atop a towering dark structure against a backdrop of black clouds and thick fog.
Nazifa Tushi stands at the centre, with an unusual halo of light spreading across the sky behind her. Siam Ahmed and Chanchal Chowdhury appear on either side, alongside two other characters. Although all five wear similar outfits, their expressions and poses differ, raising questions about their identities and the significance of their matching attire.
The dark clouds, heavy mist and stark light add to the film’s atmosphere of horror and mystery. Rafi has yet to reveal what connects the five characters.
The poster confirms an October 2026 release. Before its official unveiling, Rafi had introduced several characters through a series of unofficial first looks.
Produced by 221B Films, Andhar stars Siam Ahmed, Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Mostafa Monwar and Faruk Rehan, among others.
The poster credits Shakib Chowdhury, Saidus Salehin Sumon, popularly known as Bassbaba Sumon, and Adnan Adib Khan for their association with the film’s story.
The big-budget horror film has generated considerable curiosity since its announcement. The new poster now gives audiences their first glimpse of its central characters and the unsettling world Rafi has created.
