Singer Shila has returned to releasing original music after a lengthy break, unveiling a new song titled ‘Ami Tomar Bulbuli’ for her listeners. Having started her career in 2000, she was once a regular presence in the music scene but later stepped away from releasing solo songs.
The new track features lyrics by popular songwriter Robiul Islam Jibon, while Kishore Das has composed and arranged the music.
The music video for ‘Ami Tomar Bulbuli’ was recently released on the Singer Shila YouTube channel. The song is also available on various digital platforms.
Shila hopes the new release will resonate with listeners and says she plans to release more songs regularly from now on.
“I hope ‘Ami Tomar Bulbuli’ touches listeners’ hearts and earns their love. People will now find me releasing songs regularly. Several new tracks are coming, and they will be released one after another. I also plan to publish songs consistently on my YouTube channel,” she said.
In 2009, several of Shila’s songs were released through Soundtek, with Rajib handling their composition and arrangement. Lyricist Ahmed Rizvi was also involved in some of those tracks.
Shila has been involved in music for around 25 years, performing at stage shows and musical events across Bangladesh and abroad. She has also appeared on Bangladesh Betar, Bangladesh Television and various private television channels, including live music programmes.
Over the years, she has received awards and recognition for her work. Drawing on her experience and the support of her listeners, Shila hopes to continue her musical journey for years to come.
