The Ministry of Social Welfare has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent website, mswbd.org, which has been identified as mimicking the ministry’s official portal.
While the ministry’s authentic website, www.msw.gov.bd, remains fully operational and secure, authorities noted that the fake site was designed to mislead the general public.
As an essential government body directly engaged with the public, the ministry stated that legal action will be taken against any hacker groups or dishonest individuals involved in these fraudulent activities.
Citizens are urged to report any suspicious activity or attempts at fraud related to the ministry to the ICT branch via cell number 01915026423.
