Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is spending time in Thailand with filmmaker husband Raj Nidimoru as the couple await the arrival of their first child. The pair travelled to a beach wellness resort for a babymoon following the success of their recent film Maa Inti Bangaaram.
According to the Hindustan Times, Samantha shared a series of photographs and videos from the getaway on Instagram, describing wellness as her favourite way to travel. Calling the retreat “a gentle reminder to slow down, listen to your body, and make space for stillness”, she gave fans a glimpse into the couple’s holiday at Chiva-Som Hua Hin.
The photos show Samantha and Raj enjoying breakfast together, while another captures the moment they learnt that Maa Inti Bangaaram had crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office during their trip. Videos also show Samantha taking part in a yoga session, relaxing by the pool, enjoying spa treatments and embracing the beachside setting. In one clip, she proudly shows her baby bump in a yellow-and-white outfit.
Fans quickly filled the comments section with messages praising the actor. Many described her as “glowing”, while others called her a “cute mommy” and admired her appearance during the pregnancy.
Samantha has previously worked with Raj and DK on The Family Man Season 2 (2021) and Citadel: Honey Bunny (2024). Rumours about her relationship with Raj Nidimoru began circulating in 2024 after they were frequently seen together. In 2025, Samantha shared photos with the filmmaker, which many fans viewed as a soft launch of their relationship. The couple later made their relationship official through a yogic ceremony at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore.
Raj created Maa Inti Bangaaram, which Nandini Reddy directed. The film became the first female-led Telugu production to gross ₹100 crore worldwide. After its release, Samantha said she would take a short break and go on maternity leave before returning with another film for her fans.
