Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again sparked online discussion after sharing a series of gym selfies accompanied by a cryptic message, days after voicing support for students protesting over the alleged NEET paper leak in India.
The actor posted mirror selfies from a late-night workout session on Instagram, showing off his lean physique, ripped abs and toned biceps.
Alongside the photos, Salman wrote, “Salman Khan darrrrr gaya… Hmmmm Jo darr gaya vo mar gaya,” a famous Hindi film dialogue that translates to, “He who is afraid is as good as dead.”
Although Salman did not explain the meaning behind the post, many social media users interpreted it as a response to criticism he has faced following his recent comments on the ongoing student protests.
Earlier this week, Salman publicly supported students protesting against alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
He described the paper leak as a serious issue, expressed sympathy for injured students and their families, and urged that the movement remain peaceful and free from political influence.
The actor later appealed to activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that those responsible for the alleged examination leak would face strict action.
Salman also encouraged protesting students to return home, saying he believed the government would take corrective measures.
His latest social media post has fuelled fresh speculation online, with fans divided over whether the caption was aimed at critics or simply reflected his personal outlook.
Salman has not issued any clarification regarding the message.
