Actress Safa Kabir is now placing greater emphasis on the quality of her work rather than staying constantly busy or appearing on screen regularly.
After more than a decade in acting, she has added another recognition to her career, receiving the ‘Shompurno Award 2026’ for her contribution to women’s success and journeys.
After receiving the award, Safa shared her feelings on social media and encouraged women to recognise their own strength and abilities and create their own paths.
“I want to tell every woman just one thing today: you are enough. You are complete in yourself. Recognise your strength, create your own place and conquer your own world,” she wrote.
Safa also expressed gratitude to the organisers for the recognition.
“Every recognition is special to me because it inspires me to work harder and move forward,” she said.
Safa has spent more than 12 years in the acting industry, taking on a variety of roles in television dramas and establishing a distinct identity among audiences.
Over time, however, she has become more selective about her work. As a result, her appearances on screen have decreased compared with earlier years, although she continues to attract strong interest from viewers.
During this year’s Eid-ul-Adha, Safa appeared in several dramas. She returned to Bangladesh recently after travelling to the United States.
The actress has not yet announced any new project since returning home, leaving her fans waiting to see when she will return to the screen with a new role.
