Rishabh Pant trained with Yuvraj Singh in Mumbai last week as he prepared for IPL 2026. The sessions took place at the Brabourne Stadium. They worked together for about four days.
Pant spent time batting in both day and night sessions. He practiced many white ball shots during the training.
Yuvraj Singh is one of the great white ball players of India. In recent years, he has built a strong name as a mentor for young batters. He has worked with players like Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill and Prabhsimran Singh.
Abhishek Sharma has grown into one of the most dangerous T20 batters in the world. Many people say Yuvraj played a big role in his growth.
Pant hopes this training will also help his own white ball career. He has not played for India in limited overs cricket since August 2024.
After finishing the sessions in Mumbai, Pant travelled to Chennai. Lucknow Super Giants are holding a pre season camp there at the Coaching Beyond ground.
Bowling coach Bharat Arun and batting coach Lance Klusener are leading the camp. Several players have joined the training. The group includes Ayush Badoni, Mohsin Khan, Himmat Singh, Digvesh Singh, Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav.
The team will move the camp to Lucknow after March 15.
Lucknow Super Giants will start their IPL 2026 campaign on April 1. They will face Delhi Capitals in Lucknow.
