The fallout surrounding Ranveer Singh’s exit from the much-anticipated ‘Don 3’ has escalated into a financial dispute, with reports suggesting the actor has moved to return part of his signing fee.
Singh’s departure from the project, which was to be directed by Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, has triggered behind-the-scenes discussions over compensation. Industry reports claim the production house initially sought a substantial settlement following his exit.
According to sources, efforts have been made within the industry to mediate the situation, with informal talks reportedly taking place to ease tensions between the actor and the filmmakers. However, there has been no official confirmation from either side regarding the details of any settlement.
Speculation also circulated about possible external mediation, but those claims have since been denied by individuals linked to the situation.
Amid the uncertainty, it is now being reported that Singh may return a portion of his advance payment, estimated to be around Rs10 crore, as part of an attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
There are also unverified reports suggesting adjustments involving future collaborations, though no details have been confirmed.
So far, neither Ranveer Singh nor the Don 3 team has issued an official statement.
