Taylor Swift has added another record to her global chart résumé, debuting at No 1 on both Billboard’s worldwide song charts with ‘Patient Zero’.
The track tops the Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts for the week dated 10 October, giving Swift her eighth Global 200 No 1. The feat puts her level with BTS for the most chart-toppers since the chart launched in 2020.
‘Patient Zero’, one of four new songs on ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore’, collected 70.7 million streams and 80,000 sales worldwide during the 25 September–1 October tracking period.
The other new tracks also made strong starts, with ‘Cleveland!’ at No 2, ‘Babylon’ at No 3 and ‘Pink Clouding’ at No 5 on the Global 200.
Swift now has 47 Global 200 top-10 entries, surpassing Drake’s previous record of 45. She also holds 34 top-10 appearances on the Global Excl. US chart.
The achievement follows ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ returning to No 1 on the Billboard 200 for a 13th non-consecutive week.
