Rancon Motor Bikes Ltd and MetLife Bangladesh have partnered to provide one-year complimentary insurance coverage to eligible buyers of new Suzuki motorcycles, aiming to improve rider safety and expand access to accident protection.
According to a press release, customers purchasing new Suzuki motorcycles from authorised Rancon Motor Bikes Ltd dealers and flagship showroom points will receive the insurance coverage from the date of purchase.
The complimentary policy will cover accidental death and permanent disability, subject to policy terms and standard assessment procedures.
The partnership also includes a voluntary insurance plan for both new and existing Suzuki motorcycle owners, offering additional benefits such as accident-related medical expense reimbursement and daily hospital cash benefits for a limited period.
The agreement was signed by MetLife Bangladesh Additional Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Ala Uddin and Rancon Motor Bikes Ltd Executive Director Quazi Ashiq-Ur-Rahman on behalf of their respective organisations. Senior officials from both companies attended the signing ceremony.
Rancon Motor Bikes and MetLife Bangladesh said the initiative reflects their focus on customer protection, road safety awareness and wider access to insurance solutions for motorcycle users in Bangladesh.
The partnership comes as motorcycle ownership grows in Bangladesh, increasing the need for financial protection against accident-related risks and strengthening the role of insurance products in personal mobility.
