Actor Ram Charan is reportedly recovering well after undergoing hand surgery following an injury sustained while filming one of his upcoming projects, reports NDTV.
The news comes after reports of the actor’s injury sparked concern among fans over the past few days.
Ram Charan underwent the procedure at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore after injuring his hand during the shooting of an action sequence.
The actor was recently spotted travelling to Coimbatore with his family, prompting speculation about his health.
Sources have now confirmed that the surgery was completed successfully.
“The surgery was super successful. It was a complicated procedure but was managed with precision laparoscopically,” a source was quoted as saying.
The source added that the actor is recovering well following the operation.
However, neither Ram Charan nor his team has issued an official statement regarding his condition.
According to reports, the injury occurred while filming an action-packed sequence.
After undergoing a medical examination, doctors reportedly advised surgery to ensure proper healing and prevent any long-term complications, allowing the actor to safely return to work.
On the professional front, Ram Charan was last seen in Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
The sports action drama stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Tinnu Anand, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, and Divyenndu in key roles.
Set against a rural backdrop, Peddi follows the journey of a determined young man who battles adversity while fighting for his dreams and his community.
