Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have formally honoured two of their iconic players, Suresh Raina and Matthew Hayden, by inducting them into the franchise’s inaugural Hall of Fame.

The announcement came during CSK’s mega fan celebration, Roar’26, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. This marks the first time CSK has officially recognised its legends.

Raina, affectionately known as “Chinna Thala”, has been a cornerstone of CSK since the franchise’s inception in 2008, representing the team until 2021.

He was instrumental in CSK’s four IPL titles in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021, leaving an indelible mark on the team’s history.

Hayden, the Australian batting maestro, played a key role for CSK in the inaugural IPL season of 2008, helping the team reach the finals with his explosive batting at the top of the order.

His impactful performances set the tone for CSK’s early successes and endeared him to fans as one of the franchise’s pioneering legends.
