The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain and thunderstorms in several parts of the country over the next 24 hours from 9am on Friday.
According to a Met office bulletin, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds and lightning may occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions.
The weather is likely to remain mainly dry in other parts of the country.
The BMD said both day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore and Chandpur, while the lowest temperature on Friday was 19.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore.
The sun will set in Dhaka at 6:31pm on Friday and rise at 5:19am on Saturday.
