Starting Thursday, individuals can now file General Diaries (GD) online at all railway police stations across Bangladesh. The service, initially launched at 24 police stations in six districts, aims to cover all police stations in the country.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to streamline police services under the guidance of the Chief Adviser. It allows citizens to file GDs from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit a police station in person.
To use the service, users must download the ‘Online GD’ app from the Google Play Store.
There is no requirement for multiple registrations. In case of any issues with registration or submitting a GD online, the Railway Police has provided a 24/7 hotline at 01320001428 for assistance.
