Prime Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Shamadhan Services Limited in Dhaka on 14 June 2026 to enable enhanced digital fund transfer services between bank accounts and mobile wallet platforms. The partnership will allow Prime Bank customers to transfer funds to Shamadhan accounts at any time through both the MyPrime App and the Shamadhan App, strengthening interoperability in Bangladesh’s digital payments ecosystem.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the respective organisations by Shaila Abedin, SEVP and Head of Liability of Prime Bank PLC, and Dr Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer of Shamadhan Services Limited, according to a statement in a press.
Shamadhan Services Limited is a digital financial services provider offering mobile wallets, payments, money transfers and merchant solutions. The new integration is expected to improve customer convenience by enabling seamless cross-platform transactions between banking and fintech channels.
Senior officials from both organisations attended the signing ceremony, including Joarder Tanvir Faisal, Head of Cards and Retail Assets, and AZM Fouz Ullah Chowdhury, Head of Digital Channels at Prime Bank PLC.
From Shamadhan Services Limited, Md Salah Uddin Tanvir, Head of Product and Pricing, and ABM Saiful Bari, Head of Business and Strategy, were also present, alongside other senior representatives.
The bank said the initiative reflects its continued focus on expanding digital banking capabilities and improving customer access to convenient financial services through technology-driven partnerships.
Prime Bank did not disclose financial terms or transaction volume expectations under the agreement.
