Imran Mahmudul, playback singer and composer, has collaborated with Hridoy Khan, popular singer and composer, for a new single titled ‘Phire Ele Na’, bringing together two of the country’s most recognised voices in contemporary music.
The track marks a fresh creative pairing, with Hridoy Khan taking on the role of composer and arranger, while Imran performs the vocals. The recording session was completed last month at Hridoy’s studio, and the song is now set for an upcoming release alongside a music video.
Penned by lyricist Robiul Islam Jibon, Phire Ele Na is described as a melancholic romantic number centred on themes of separation and longing.
Imran said the collaboration held personal significance, noting that he had long admired Hridoy Khan’s work since his student years. He added that singing under Hridoy’s composition brought a new experience to his career and expressed hope that listeners would connect with the emotional tone of the song.
He also shared that the response to early studio images posted on social media had already generated anticipation among fans.
In recent months, Imran has remained active across multiple platforms, contributing songs to films, television dramas and special music projects. Over the Eid-ul-Fitr period, Imran Mahmudul maintained a strong presence across the film industry, contributing songs to multiple major releases.
His tracks featured prominently in three of the five films released during the festive season, notably: ‘Pori’ from ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka’, ‘Shuddhatar Prem’ and ‘Tumi Chhara’ from ‘Rakkhosh’, and ‘Kothay Pabo Tahare’ from ‘Domm’, all of which have been well received by audiences
