At least 13 United States service members have been killed and 365 others wounded in the Iran war, the Pentagon confirmed as of Friday.
Officials did not immediately clarify whether the figures include personnel linked to the downing of two combat aircraft reported earlier the same day, reports Middle East Eye.
According to the Pentagon, casualties were recorded across multiple branches of the military. Of the wounded, 247 were US Army soldiers, 63 were Navy sailors, 19 were Marines, and 36 were Air Force airmen.
