Ticket holders for Atif Aslam’s postponed Dhaka concert will be able to claim refunds, organisers have confirmed, bringing some clarity after weeks of uncertainty surrounding the event.
The Pakistani singer’s Main Stage Show, scheduled for December 13 at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal, was deferred due to security concerns. While the cancellation disappointed thousands of fans, the concert has not been called off entirely. Organisers say the show will be rescheduled after the next national elections.
Atif Aslam has personally assured fans that previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled concert. However, those unable or unwilling to attend on the new date will have the option to seek a refund.
Main Stage announced that refund applications will be accepted for 10 working days from December 21. A dedicated online link will be released shortly, through which ticket holders must complete the process. Once refunded, tickets will be permanently cancelled and cannot be reused or transferred.
Details of the new concert date and venue are expected to be announced at a later stage.
