Nora Fatehi has revealed that she initially had no interest in joining reality television, but financial difficulties eventually led her to reconsider an offer from Bigg Boss 9.
Speaking on a recent podcast, the Bollywood actor recalled a challenging phase in her career when she was struggling to collect payments for several song projects. Disagreements with producers over delayed payments added to her difficulties.
It was amid those problems that Nora received an offer to participate in Bigg Boss 9. Although she was initially reluctant to enter the reality show, the remuneration offered by the organisers made her rethink the decision.
Nora said she realised that rejecting the opportunity could prove costly, particularly at a time when she was dealing with financial uncertainty. The substantial payment eventually convinced her to accept the offer.
Beyond the money, she also saw the show as a chance to introduce herself to a much wider Indian audience. Nora entered the Bigg Boss house as a wildcard contestant and understood that she might not remain in the competition for very long.
With that in mind, she decided to use her time on the programme to maximise her visibility and create opportunities for herself in the entertainment industry.
The decision ultimately became an important turning point in Nora’s career, with her appearance on Bigg Boss 9 helping her gain greater recognition among Indian audiences and opening doors to further work in the industry.
