A meeting was held between the National Citizen Party (NCP) and a visiting delegation from the European Union on Saturday, at the party’s office in Banglamotor, according to a press release.
Present on behalf of the European Union were election observation experts Riccardo Chelleri, Mete Bakken, Manuel Wally, the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Bangladesh Baiba Zarina, and others.
The NCP’s delegation team included Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary, Joint Convenors Sultan Mohammad Zakaria, Khaled Saifullah, and Tajnuva Jabeen, Joint Member Secretaries Alauddin Mohammad and Zahirul Islam Musa, and Joint Chief Coordinator Navid Nowroz Shah.
The meeting discussed the country’s election situation, the possibility of election observation activities, and the political context.
