A new alliance is set to join the country’s political arena. The alliance, formed by parties eager to uphold the pledges of July uprising and establish a new political arrangement, will be led by National Citizen Party (NCP).
It is scheduled to be formally launched at 4pm on Sunday at the Dhaka Reporters Unity auditorium in Dhaka’s Segunbagicha.
Apart from the NCP, the other two parties are Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party and Rashtra Sanskar Andolon.
Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party Chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju told TIMES of Bangladesh that the alliance will be announced at a press conference in the afternoon.
NCP Joint Member Secretary and Media Cell Editor Mushfiq Us Salehin also confirmed the matter.
The alliance was scheduled to be launched last week but was postponed due to unspecified reasons.
