A delegation from the National Citizen Party (NCP) has reached in Tokyo, Japan.

The team landed at Narita International Airport at 6:30am local time on Friday, where they were warmly welcomed by members of the Bangladeshi expatriate community with flowers.

The delegation departed from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday (September 11) at 1:30pm.

The visiting team includes NCP Chief Organiser for the northern region, Sarjis Alam, Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary, and Joint Chief Coordinator Mahbub Alam.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to attend several events in Tokyo and Osaka, where they will meet with members of the Bangladeshi diaspora and NCP supporters. They are also expected to hold a meeting with the Bangladeshi Ambassador in Japan to discuss issues facing expatriates and explore opportunities for further collaboration to discuss issues facing expatriates and explore opportunities for further collaboration.

Earlier, on August 22, a high-level NCP delegation visited Malaysia for a three-day tour, followed by a four-day official visit to China starting August 26. Both previous delegations were led by the party’s Convenor, Nahid Islam. However, he is not part of the current NCP delegation to Japan.
