NCP has brought allegations of 21 irregularities during the 13th National Parliamentary Election, citing incidents of violence, polling centre occupation, obstruction of polling agents and fake voting in different parts of the country.

The allegations were made at a press conference held at the party’s temporary central office in Banglamotor on Thursday. Monira Sharmin, secretary of the NCP’s election management committee, presented the complaints to journalists.

She called on the administration to act impartially and address the allegations with seriousness to ensure a credible election.

“If any party is declared victorious through manipulation, the people will resist it,” she warned.
Voting was held in 299 constituencies nationwide on Thursday.

The election in Sherpur-3 was postponed due to the death of a candidate.
A total of 50 registered political parties are participating in the polls.
