Lionel Messi and Adidas have unveiled the third season of the Messi +10 campaign, highlighting 10 young footballers viewed as talents to watch, including Arsenal teenager Max Dowman and Mexico international Gilberto Mora.
The campaign, announced on Sunday, features seven male players and three female players from clubs across Europe and the Americas. Adidas Football introduced the project on social media with the message: “A legacy to build on. The next chapter starts here. Meet the rising stars of Messi +10, season 3.”
Dowman, the 16-year-old Arsenal prospect, is one of two English players included. Chelsea youngster Chloe Sarwie is also on the list, bringing representation from the women’s game.
Mora, who plays for Mexican club Tijuana, is another prominent name. The midfielder featured for Mexico at the 2026 World Cup despite being only 17. Argentina’s Tomas Aranda, a Boca Juniors player, also features among the selected talents.
The full list comprises Aranda, Dowman, Mora, Sarwie, Turkey international Can Uzun of Eintracht Frankfurt, United States prospect Zavier Gozo of Crystal Palace, Spain’s Jesus Rodriguez of Como, Netherlands midfielder Kees Smit of AZ Alkmaar, Brazil’s Giovanna Waksman and Germany’s Lotta Wrede of Hamburger SV.
The campaign continues a project that began in January 2025, when Messi shared advice with a group of emerging players. Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal was among those featured in the first instalment. The second season followed in October 2025, with Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha, Nico Paz and Andrey Santos among the names highlighted.
The latest selection spans men’s and women’s football, bringing together players at different stages of their development. Some have already made senior international appearances, while others are building their reputations at club and youth level.
The Messi +10 campaign presents the 10 players as part of football’s next generation. Their inclusion offers a prominent platform for young talent, although it is not an official ranking of the world’s best prospects.
