Meghna Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC to facilitate gas bill collection through all Meghna Bank branches, aiming to simplify payments for customers.
Under the deal, customers will be able to pay their gas bills more conveniently through the bank’s nationwide branch network.
Meghna Bank Managing Director Syed Mizanur Rahman and Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Secretary Md Lutful Haider Masum signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Senior officials from both sides attended the signing ceremony. Meghna Bank Deputy Managing Director Momtazul Karim N Ahmed and Head of Retail Banking Samiul Kabir were present.
From Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution, Managing Director Shahnewaz Parvez, General Manager for Accounts Division Md Mohiuddin Molla and General Manager for ICT Division Engr Md Siddiqur Rahman also attended, along with other senior officials.
The agreement reflects efforts to expand utility payment channels through banking networks, as financial institutions and service providers increasingly collaborate to improve customer access and streamline transactions.
