A man injured in a brick attack while riding a motorcycle in Dhaka’s Kafrul area has died.
Sajid Chowdhury Rafi succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), confirmed DMCH Police Camp In‑charge Inspector Md Faruk.
Rafi was returning home by motorcycle on 9 June when assailants struck the right side of his head with a brick in Kafrul’s Ibrahimpur area. He suffered severe head injuries, fell onto the road, and was later taken to hospital by rickshaw.
Police arrested three suspects in connection with the incident — Md Parvez, Anwar Hossain Babu, and Md Faisal alias Kalu.
Kafrul Police Station Officer‑in‑Charge (OC) Sajjad Hossain confirmed the arrests, adding that the attack took place due to previous enmity.
