Cloudy skies and drizzle greeted Dhaka Thursday morning, with more showers likely as a well‑marked low over the Bay of Bengal influences conditions.

The system has intensified, bringing heavier rainfall to coastal regions. Cloud cover has persisted across the capital since morning, accompanied by intermittent drizzle.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said rainfall in Dhaka may rise during the day before easing by afternoon or evening, with showers likely again Friday.
