Lebanon’s health ministry reported Thursday that Israeli strikes have killed 1,001 people since fighting between Israel and Hezbollah began on 2 March, up from 968 a day earlier.
The ministry said the dead include 79 women, 118 children, and 40 health workers, while 2,584 others have been wounded.
