With the mini-auction for the next Indian Premier League (IPL) season approaching, all 10 franchises have submitted their retention and release lists. The auction is scheduled for 16 December in Abu Dhabi, and every team filed their list with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) before the 15 November deadline.
The most significant trade before this year’s auction saw Sanju Samson move to Chennai Super Kings, while Rajasthan Royals added Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to their squad. Kolkata Knight Riders enter the auction with the largest purse at ₹64.3 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad also carry strong financial muscle, arriving with ₹35.5 crore.
