Kaz Software Limited has achieved a major milestone by winning the Gold Award in the Lifestyle & Culture category at the Asia Smart Innovation Awards 2025, held from October 15 to 16, 2025, in Hong Kong.
Organized by the Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), the prestigious event recognized outstanding initiatives in smart and emerging technologies across Asia.
The awards focused on innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and AR/VR, with the goal of fostering regional collaboration and promoting next-generation digital technologies.
Abul Khair Mohammad Hafizullah Khan, Joint Secretary of the Local Government Division and Administrator of BASIS, participated as a judge and speaker, highlighting Bangladesh’s growing influence in the global tech landscape.
Eleven BASIS member companies participated in the competition, reflecting the country’s competitive edge in the tech sector. Kaz Software’s CEO, Wahid Aziz Choudhury, proudly received the Gold Award, cementing Bangladesh’s position in the international ICT ecosystem.
BASIS, as the Regional Co-Organizer, facilitated local companies’ participation, providing them with a platform to showcase their solutions and explore international collaboration.
