Kay and Que has entered an Application-to-Person Aggregator Agreement with Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, enabling the company to manage and deliver bulk messaging services on behalf of the state-run operator.
The agreement will function under the licensing and regulatory framework of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, according to a Kay and Que disclosure on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
An Application-to-Person aggregator is an intermediary that connects businesses with mobile network operators to send automated bulk messages such as marketing alerts, one-time passwords and customer notifications through a single platform.
Kay and Que, incorporated in 1983 and historically known for producing carbon rods for dry cell batteries, has experienced several operational shutdowns over the years due to declining demand, linkage constraints and production challenges.
The company now operates a CNG refuelling station, a boulder business and a land lease facility at its factory premises.
Kay and Que said the agreement with Teletalk is expected to contribute positively to its business operations and revenue, adding that the initiative represents a step toward broader diversification.
