The National Consensus Commission held another detailed meeting with experts on the ways and methods of implementing the July National Charter 2025 according to a press release.
This discussion took place on Sunday morning at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. Participating as experts were retired Justice MA Matin of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Dhaka University Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Senior Advocate of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Dr Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister Tanim Hossain Shaon, and Barrister Imran Siddique.
At the meeting, the Commission informed the experts about the issues discussed with political parties regarding the implementation of the Charter. Additionally, recommendations previously received from political parties and experts on the ways and methods of implementing the Charter were also discussed.
Representing the Commission at the meeting were Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Dr Ifthekharuzzaman, and Dr Md. Ayub Mia. Furthermore, the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Monir Haider, who is involved in the national consensus-building process, also participated in the meeting.
