Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Tuesday announced the results of the first-year undergraduate (Honours) admission tests for B, C and E units for the 2025–26 academic session.
The results were published at 1:30 pm on the university’s official website.
The C Unit covers the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Faculty of Law, and the Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture. The B Unit represents the Faculty of Social Sciences, while the E Unit includes the Faculty of Business Studies. Detailed information and individual results are available at the official JU admission portal, ju-admission.org.
Professor Md Shamsul Alam, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, said 86 per cent of registered candidates appeared for the B Unit exam. “The results were published within 24 hours of the examination through extensive overnight efforts,” he added.
The admission tests were conducted over two days in 11 shifts. The C Unit exam was held in six shifts on the first day, while the B and E Unit exams were conducted in five shifts on the second day.
A total of 20,583 candidates applied for the B Unit, which offers 326 seats. The C Unit received 47,497 applications for 466 seats, and the E Unit had 11,612 candidates competing for 200 seats.
