Although Jashore Education Board retained second place in SSC pass rate, both the pass rate and GPA‑5 achievers declined this year. The board’s pass rate stood at 66.27 per cent.
Last year, the board also ranked second with a pass rate of 73.69 per cent, meaning the rate dropped by 7.42 percentage points. GPA‑5 achievers also fell from 15,410 last year to 11,478 this year.
However, the overall pass rate in the SSC and equivalent examinations for 2026 stood at 62.25 per cent, with the results officially published on Monday.
Under the nine general education boards, the pass rate was 64.05 per cent, down from 68.04 per cent in 2025, marking a decrease of 3.99 percentage points.
