Press Secretary to Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader, Khondaker Delwar Jalali, has resigned. On Monday afternoon, he sent a resignation letter signed by himself to the JaPa chairman.
In the resignation letter addressed to the Chairman, he wrote: “I am resigning from the position of Press Secretary to the Jatiya Party Chairman due to personal difficulties. I joined as Deputy Press Secretary on April 5, 2018, under the founder of the Jatiya Party and former president, the late Hussain Muhammad Ershad, Pollibondhu. Since the passing of Pollibondhu until now, I have served as your press secretary. I have tried to manage the press wing of a large party like the Jatiya Party single-handedly. However, I cannot avoid the responsibility for the recent failures and weaknesses of the Jatiya Party’s press wing. I wish you success, good health, and a long life.”
However, no one from the JaPa office has confirmed whether this resignation letter has been accepted. Moreover, when contacted for comments on the matter, Khondaker Delwar Jalali did not answer his phone.
